Structure and Types
Standard (non-self-aligning) clutch release bearings:
There are primarily two types: stamped outer housing angular contact ball bearings and single-sided rubber seal angular contact ball bearings. These bearings typically rotate on the outer ring and cannot be used independently; they must be used in conjunction with a cast iron sleeve. This type of product is gradually being replaced by self-aligning clutch release bearings.
Self-aligning clutch release bearing assemblies:
The core component is a set of angular contact ball bearings with nylon retainers, featuring lightweight design and excellent self-lubricating performance; the bearings rotate on the inner ring, preventing centrifugal force from the rotating outer ring affecting the lubricant; the sleeve materials include cast iron and glass-fiber-reinforced nylon 66; the plastic sleeve forms a low-friction dry sliding friction pair with the metal guide sleeve on the front cover; rubber seals are used to reliably prevent lubricant leakage.
